Why @iheartreykjavik?
For almost 10 years I ran a travel blog and business called I heart Reykjavík. It was super popular, very successful and to this day the reason many people know who I am.
During the pandemic, I closed it. I took down the blog, stopped posting on most of my social media accounts and had to rethink my whole life.
But I kept this Instagram handle because of the connections I made through this account. It’s part of my story. It feels wrong to change it.
Although I don’t talk about it much here on Instagram, I am actually a somewhat sought after marketing consultant, freelance content writer and public speaker/workshop instructor.
I specialize in helping small businesses, freelancers and other consultants find their unique voice and positioning. But I’ve also worked as a marketing lead and CX expert for everything from tiny SaaS startups to big enterprises.
While I contemplate a bit longer whether or not I should create a proper website in English (the Icelandic market usually keeps me plenty busy), you can send me an e-mail if you think I can help you.
